Factorytalk Historian

Rockwell Automation has partnered with OSIsoft to embed the PI Historian software into the FactoryTalk Services Platform. This is an exciting development that adds the rock solid reliability and fast performance of PI to the systems that you already trust to run your plant.

Rockwell has done an excellent job of integrating PI into the FactoryTalk architecture and for the most part you can hit the ground running with your installation without any help. There are a number of reasons that you may wish to find someone with more experience in thie arena.
